tips for buyers

Helping clients find their dream homes the past 21 years has reinforced the importance of communication.

For many, buying a home is the largest financial endeavor in their lifetimes. It's a very personal and sensitive journey as two of our most private entities, our home and our finances, combine at once. Partnering with someone you can trust to put your needs first can make all the difference in a successful experience.

GET PRE-APPROVED first

Know what you can comfortably afford before you shop. I recommend speaking to a couple different mortgage professionals to compare their service, rates, fees, and loan programs before you start your search. These conversations can help alleviate anxiety by giving you clarity on your financial options upfront. Click on the Get Pre Approved link to learn more.

determine your needs

Map out the areas you'd like to potentially live in, your required number of bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and other custom amenities in your future home.

Start your search!

I will search the NWMLS daily and update you on new listings that fit your criteria. I offer custom searches on this Tikirobs site, yet I still recommend my clients to try Redfin.com. It's the most consumer friendly site available. We used Redfin to search for our Las Vegas home and loved it!

EXPERT CONSULTATION AND NEGOTIATING

Once we find a home you love, that's when the work begins. I'll provide you with important sales data surrounding that home, as well as consult on any potential re-sale issues that could negatively affect the value, or improvements you could make to gain instant equity and increase its value. Then my ultimate goal is to connect and collaborate with the listing agent and his / her seller to negotiate the best price and terms I can for you.

AFTER CLOSING SUPPORT - The tiki room

Once the home is yours, my job isn't done. I can help consult on ways to improve its condition and market value. I have relationships with various professionals in our region that can help you clean, paint, remodel, update flooring, re-roof, landscape, etc... your home.
